Deca Games is world’s leading provider of consulting services of online video games. The purpose of the merger was to consolidate the economic activities and assets of two companies into a single company in order to increase the efficiency of the business and reduce operating costs. As a result of the merger, Deca Games Live Operations GmbH will continue operating in Germany. Cross-border merger needed thorough tax analysis and negotiations with the tax authorities as the authorities from both countries had contradicting opinions.
