Pille Pettai, partner and sworn advocate at LEVIN Attorneys at Law in Tallinn, has advised Ivo Remmelg in the selling shares of public transport provider Ridango to BaltCap, an investment fund in the Baltic states. With the transaction, BaltCap's Private Equity Fund III trust acquired a majority of shares in Ridango.
Ridango provides public transport solutions, and focuses on automated fare collection as well as real-time passenger information systems. Active across the world, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for customers in local government, and in the public transport sector generally. In Estonia, Ridango provide solutions for Elron, the Tallinn Transport Department, the City of Tartu, and Pärnu's public transport centre, among others.
